The house that played Hill House.
Ettington Park is a neo-Gothic Victorian mansion of the Shirley family, now a hotel, and its outside played Hill House in the 1963 film The Haunting. BBC Coventry & Warwickshire calls it very haunted. Coventry Live quotes a night manager saying an army officer and an old lady are seen by the fireplace. Visit Warwickshire names a white-gowned 'Lady Emma' and two Shirley boys drowned in the Stour; only it names Lady Emma.
