The friar who threw Robin in.

Fountain Dale is said to be where Friar Tuck lived and fought Robin Hood, who was thrown into the water. The fight ended in friendship. Mee says the friar's well and the moat could still be seen in the woods. Walter Scott is said to have stayed at the house.
