Where the spur strikes, the head will follow.

Story of Leicester says Speed (1611) records that Richard III struck his spur on Bow Bridge riding to Bosworth, and a woman (wise, old, or mad in different tellings) foretold his head would strike the same spot on his return; his body came back slung over a horse. The BBC retells the story.
