A king's bed, and gold beneath it.

Tradition says Richard III spent his last night before Bosworth at the Blue Boar Inn and left his bed behind. Story of Leicester says gold was later found in it, the landlady Mrs Clark was murdered for it, and the robbers were executed; the bed is now at Donington le Heath Manor House. The inn was demolished in 1836. Billson (Wikisource) puts the robbery on 3 Feb 1604/5 and has money taken from chests. CONFLICT: gold in the bed vs in chests. A White Lady ghost is mentioned only by the Pub History Project.
