Sudeley Castle says one of its best-known ghosts is Janet, a strict Edwardian housekeeper who kept coming back after she retired. She is seen on the stairs in a mop cap, running a finger over the furniture. Great British Life repeats the story and says Katherine Parr is said to roam the castle looking for her baby daughter.
