A coven of stone.

Long Meg and Her Daughters is one of Britain's largest stone circles, with the tall outlying stone Long Meg. Legend says Meg and her daughters were a coven of witches turned to stone by the wizard Michael Scot. The stones are also said to be uncountable. The name was in use by about 1600.
