Bring the skulls home.

Two skulls were kept at Timberbottom Farm, the 'Skull House', near Bradshaw. Tradition said they must stay in the house. They were buried at Bradshaw Chapel and thrown into the brook, but disturbances followed until they were brought back. Origin stories include beheaded robbers and lovers. The skulls later went to Turton Tower.
