Two heirs who never grew up.
Clegg Hall near Rochdale is said to be haunted by the Clegg Hall boggart. The tale is usually set in the 13th century. A wicked uncle is said to have murdered two orphaned heirs to take the estate, and the haunting grew from that crime. John Roby wrote up the story and Harland and Wilkinson also mention it.
