Fresh flowers appear on a suicide's grave. Nobody admits to leaving them.

A small mound at a crossroads near Hound Tor is called Jay's Grave. Tradition says it holds a young woman, Kitty Jay, who killed herself and so was buried outside consecrated ground. The North Devon Journal reported in 1851 that men working for James Bryant at Hedge Barton found a grave there; the bones were reburied and stones set up. Fresh flowers keep appearing on it, and no one admits to placing them.
