A woman in grey walks the stage and leaves through the wall. Henley says it's the girl they hanged.
In 1752 Mary Blandy of Henley was hanged for poisoning her father with arsenic. She was buried in the chancel of St Mary's church, close to the house where she grew up. In 1969 people at the Kenton Theatre began to report odd things when they were alone. Mirrors smashed, doors opened and closed, seats banged, and a woman in grey crossed the stage and went through the wall. Some link her with Mary. Others say Mary stands under the mulberry tree at her Hart Street house.
