Birds in a murderer's skull.
In 1805 Tom Otter married Mary Kirkham and killed her at Drinsey Nook that night. He was hanged in 1806 and his body was gibbeted nearby until a storm in 1850. Blue tits were said to nest in his skull, which gave a riddle: 'ten tongues all in one head'. Ghost-hunters now visit the Sun Inn in Saxilby, where the inquest was held.
