Follow the hood.

On Twelfth Night a Lord, a Fool and Boggins start a huge scrum, the sway, which pushes a leather hood to one of four pubs. The tale says Lady de Mowbray lost her hood in the wind and the labourers who chased it were rewarded. In January 2026 the hood went to the Carpenters Arms at Westwoodside.
