Grace Dieu was an Augustinian nunnery founded 1235-41 by Rose de Verdon. The BBC reports sightings of a white lady from 1926, including a figure walking into the road near the old bus stop and a 1934 sighting; Wikipedia says sightings since 1926 were compiled by a local historian.
