Down the slope they go.

Every Easter Monday Preston families roll decorated hard-boiled eggs down the slopes of Avenham and Miller Parks, a tradition said to go back over 150 years. In 2026 the council ran it from 11am to 4pm with workshops and an Easter bonnet competition.
