A child's stone coffin under the chancel arch, and a story that she was a Danish king's daughter.
Tradition says a daughter of King Canute drowned in a millstream near Bosham and was buried in Holy Trinity Church. A small stone coffin was found near the chancel arch in 1865, and in 1954 workmen rediscovered it. Wikipedia says there is little evidence linking it to Canute. The church is also where King Harold set out in 1066, as shown on the Bayeux Tapestry.
