A Roundhead on horseback, still riding through a Hampshire churchyard.
All Saints Church in Crondall, near Farnham, is a fine Norman church. During the English Civil War it was used as a minor outpost by Parliamentarian troops. Since then there have been reported sightings of the ghosts of Parliamentarian soldiers in the churchyard, including a mounted Roundhead in full battle dress. Wikipedia gives this as a reported tradition, with no named witnesses or dates. No other fetched source repeats it, so treat it as a single-source tale. Visitors see a Norman church with a churchyard where the soldiers were once posted.
