Eden will run where Eden ran.
Legend says Uther Pendragon, King Arthur's father, built this castle and tried to divert the River Eden to form a moat: 'Let Uther Pendragon do what he can, Eden will run where Eden ran.' Another story says Saxons poisoned the well, killing Uther and his hundred men.
